If I knew the glass man or had very close frineds that knew something about boats that have had work done by him I would maybe give him a shot wood or not.
Bbuuuuuuut if the boat is runable I may slap some Marine Tex in there and wait until I could get it to Chub. We may make too much out of the fact that the factory is the only one that can do something for us, but I think sometimes it's better to go the extra mile. Dan |

Sorry to hear that.... | ||

Hello from Japan.
I have owned my 97 stroker since 2002, and had a same problem. Good thing with you is the fact you are in U.S., and have access to stroker factory ! I envy you.... in any case. Well, I still own my boat, and enjoying riding but taking care of my boat probably than anyone else in my marina. I hope you fix it, and come back ! TakaMerc225 |

Hello, fastglass1 ! Yes, long time no see (physically, even electronically). I had a chance to visit U.S. in 2006, but did not have time to go around...
I just sent you an e-mail ! |

As I remember there are actually 2 Stroker's in Japan. TakaMerc225 is near Tokyo (Lake Kata-ura) and the other one is closer to Osaka (Lake Bewa).
Taka was kind enough to take me fishing a few years ago and we had a very cold but fun day on the lake. I have also fished Bewa 3 times but not in a Stroker (see http://home.earthlink.net/~fastglass80plus/Fishing%20in%20Japan.html). It would be easier to ship Chub to Japan that ship the Stroker to Chub. |

Bob I don't think it wasTaka that was asking for the help. EBY the original poster did leave any info when he joined. I think Taka said he
had a similar problem. I'm not so sure about gettin Chub to Japan I can't get'em down to Florida for some Peacock fishin. LOL
Maybe EBY will check back in and let us know who and where he's located. But if I was within a few hundred miles of Strokerville I would give them a shot at it. Dan |

I did trade email with Taka and he is having some minor problems similar to Dempsy.
I understand about Chub. If he did go to Japan, I would have to be there to see it. He would definitely stand out in a crowd. --------------- How are you doing, Dan? Are you starting to feel better? |

Standing Out | ||
|
Hey buddy you're right about standing out. Bib overalls are not a norm there.
Bob up until a couple years ago I have been a pretty healthy horse. But this heart deal really knocked my stuff in the dirt. Got to learn to live with it my trouble is to a certain point I'm hard headed and think I can go out and do yard work, put brakes on the truck, change the oil, then come in an wax the boat all in one day. Then it takes me about 2 days flat on my back to recover. Yvonne just shakes her head. Haven't been out in the boat for a couple months going down Friday nite spending it with my friend and fishing Saturday. Going to run this 32 Remco cut Performer that has been worked again. My buddy says the fish are on. Man I look forward to that. On the "O"" if the fish are on you can catch a bunch quick and sometimes get you a big'un too. Dan |

Danny Hare wrote:I can picture that just as plan as if I was there. LOL I know what you are talking about. Went out a couple of weeks ago and loaded/unload 4 pickup trucks of fire wood. Some of the pieces were double length and not split. They weighed in around 200+ lbs. I spent the next few days regretting doing that. Drink plenty of liquids and I hope you catch a big one. |
